Absolutely beautiful ! Pipe Major Andrew Paton piped my dad to rest yesterday.A very moving, professional service. At the end as we stood at the graveside he played the final tune I had chosen . The music gently faded away and then he was gone without our even noticing. He provided a very professional service with palpable empathy. He was immaculately dressed in Black Watch tartan complete with bearskin, as I requested, and was a magnificent sight as he strode in front of the cortege through the cemetery. It was a fitting tribute to my dad who would have loved it. I highly recommend Andy . I chose him from a number of pipers who responded to my enquiry as he was was the only one whose initial reply was adressed to me personally ,using my name . He was the only one whose quote ended with a message of sympathy. I felt this indicated a kind man and I wasn't wrong. Many thanks Andy you made a sad day more bearable.

Gavin, RAF Shawbury

Andrew was fantastic. It was my first time organising a Burns Night Supper and he was helpful and offered ideas to help the night go well. During the night he was able to flex his performance and times to suit the ever changing flow of the evening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music and commented how much it brought to the evening. Can't recommend enough.

10/10 The best experience ever everyone said at the Wedding reception how it made the day and how Andy carried on playing on and off through freezing cold weather, he was worth every penny. Wendy

Tom, Northwich

Andrew Paton is an excellent Piper, he goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer and the quality of the music is excellent. Everyone who attended this event (0600 hrs on a dark and cold crisp November morning) said they were glad they got up to be there. Haunting and emotional were the words used. Many thanks for being there for us Andrew.

Jane, Altrincham

Hi Andy Wanted to drop you a line in appreciation of your fantastic performance yesterday. To see you looking so fabulous in Highland dress as we pulled up to the gates at Altrincham Crematorium and begin to play Lest we Forget, it was breathtaking. Followed by the Skye Boat Song, a song my Mum sang to her grandchildren when they were babies, it was delightful. Our driver opened our windows, the six of us (myself, sister and four brothers) listened in wonder as you played perfectly, how I wish my Mum could have been there, she would have just loved it. Thank you so, so much Andy, you made mine and my families memories of the day so much more special.

Fingal, Wigton

5 stars Andy played at our wedding in Cumbria this weekend. He was absoultey superb and gave our day a really special touch. Andy is the utmost professional and a brilliant talent on the pipes. I cannot recommend Andy highly enough. If your looking for a piper in the Northwest, look no further and hire Andy.

Rosemary, York

What can I say! Andy was absolutely amazing. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and attention to detail at such a sad occasion as my Mums funeral. Andy looked and sounded fabulous and really set the scene for my dear Mum and our whole family. Even the funeral director said he'd never experienced anything quite like it, that he'd heard pipers before at funerals but when Andy played it sent shivers down his back as he followed Andy playing the bagpipes and leading my Mum to her final resting place alongside my dear Dad. Thank you so much Andy.
